Sam, Jake and the team were absolutely the right choice for us and made our moving experience so much less stressful! The whole move team were all really friendly, made both us and our children feel at ease, and were very patient of us getting in the way! Even before we moved, speaking to them and getting a quote was quick and easy - they were thankfully very accomodating of a somewhat last minute change of move date which was a life saver. The move went well, everything they packed for us was professionally and safely transported with no problems, with several runs between properties. The cherry on top is that they are reasonably priced, and fair in additional costs too. Hopefully we won't be moving again anytime soon, but we'd use SJC again in a heartbeat if we did! ~ Keighley T

Moving is usually a nightmare, but SJC Movers handled it like a headline act. Communication was brilliant from the jump; Jacob gave off an immediate "I’ve got this" vibe during the quote, which Sam backed up during the pre-move box count. On the big day, an army of five arrived exactly on time. After a thirty-second brief, they started packing like they were late for a Dire Straits concert—total "Walk of Life" energy. They even worked around my partner and me while we were WFH, dismantling furniture in a flash without interrupting a single Zoom call. We drastically underestimated our own hoard of "hidden junk" (turns out we’re accidental archivists of cupboard-top clutter), but they still cleared 80% on the first trip. I was really worried how I'd cope with our house move after my partner passed away as I'd never moved house by myself before. However Jake, Sam and their two colleagues were absolutely fantastic. Great communication and advice before moving. Jake always replied quickly to my seemingly never ending questions prior to the big day. On move day their professional, kind and friendly team worked efficiently (during the heatwave) and with great care to load and transport our furniture and belongings to our new home. Myself and my daughter were so grateful to the team for making our move go so smoothly. They even returned to our new house the following day to lift a microwave into it's high up kitchen slot that myself and my daughter couldn't manage to do. I hope to never have to move house again but if I ever do, I would 100% use SJC Movers again and would highly recommend them to anyone moving home. ~ Karen E

SJC were fantastic - they made moving from London to Surrey stress-free. They were very responsive over WhatsApp when discussing the initial requirements and quotation and on the day of the move. They were very reasonably priced compared to other quotes, and they were very professional, even accommodating the collection of some of our items from a separate storage facility, as well as dis-assembling and re-assembling large pieces of furniture for us (on top of the packing and loading / unloading). Really brilliant service from SJC Movers for our house move last week. Friendly, helpful advice during the planning and quotation stages. We liased on the moving dates with great communication. On the moving day we had 2 luton vans as advised by Samuel & Jake and extra men. This worked brilliantly, although the moving date didn't quite go to plan after packing the while house into the vans due to issues in the chain. Jake & Sam were able to accommodate us with no trouble and eased our stresses. Would highly recommend Jake, Sam & team to anyone who is looking for movers for a great experience. ~ Aine F

Always a bit skeptical using companies with a handful of reviews but I made the best decision to use this company. Samuel recently started the company after working in the industry for a decade. He was extremely responsive at all times, professional, always listened to our concerns and proposed solutions. He even came to the property to inspect and confirm the correct vans were reserved for the job. Arrived early on the day and wrapped all delicate items (TV and mirrors etc) to a high standard. Dismantled our furniture carefully and efficiently, and reassembled in the new place perfectly. Would definitely recommend. ~ Omar

We had a complicated move which included a destination in Wales. We had been let down at almost the last moment by a removal firm. A kind neighbour gave us SJC Removers number. Jake and his team organised our move without any problems. They fully appreciated our time restrictions. Nothing fazed them, they were helpful, polite and so efficient. They worked systematically and quickly clearing the property and were on time in Wales for delivery there. There will be another similar move and they will certainly be the company we will use. We used SJC Movers last week for our move from a 3-bedroom terraced house in Sutton to a flat in Manchester, including their full professional packing service. From the initial video survey to the final box being unloaded, the experience was completely stress-free.The office team was incredibly responsive, answering all my questions and providing a transparent, fixed quote with no hidden fees. On packing day, Sam and Jacob arrived exactly on time. They were polite, professional, and worked with incredible speed. They used specialized wardrobe boxes for our clothes and took extra care wrapping our fragile kitchen glassware and a heavy upright piano.On moving day, they navigated a very narrow stairwell at our new flat without leaving a single mark on the walls or the furniture. Thanks to Sam and the boys from SJC Movers for moving us on the hottest June day on record. Our moving date changed, so we only booked them 6 days before our move. When we booked the communication was excellent, they said, we’ll take the stress out of your moving day, and they really did. We choose them because they were the only removal company to provide more resources to get the job done quickly. We had a lot of balcony plants and furniture and they used a second Luton van because they knew the plants would need more space and wouldn’t stack easily. 10 out of 10. Thanks again. Huge thanks to Jacob and the team for making my move so easy. They showed up right on time and were incredibly efficient, getting me moved in record time. SJC Movers stepped in on short notice after my initial company let me down (I won't name them but you really can't hire Any Van service 🥲). Exceptional service from Jacob and his team. We had an unpredictable house purchase, but Jacob was understanding and very accommodating with dates and plans. They deserve 10 stars! I cannot recommend them highly enough. All 4 chaps were polite, respectful and patient, especially when they had to wait over an hour on arrival for completion, having loaded up and driven for nearly 3 hours and all in nearly 30 degree heat! Chat gpt recommended SJC Movers to me to assist us as we moved house and I'm glad it did! It was very short notice but they quickly gave me a very reasonable quote via video, the best I'd had, they got back to me very quickly too as time was of the essence and so we went with them, communication was excellent, I felt at peace knowing what the exact plan was. They came the day before to part load some of our stuff and did the rest on moving day, 4 amazing guys assisted us moving, very friendly, very professional, Jacob was excellent at delegating and coordinating his team. They troubleshooted a tricky situation, when they couldn't get our sofa out of the door like true experts. We were in good hands and they got us out the house by 1pm as requested. They disassembled and reassembled our beds in lightning time! Very impressive! We were very pleased to have a Christian guy on the team, playing his praise music and praying for our new house! Jacob, Sam and the team were professional, hard working and communicated excellently throughout. It was a tough job with complexities such as gym equipment and breakable objects. Through my work, Barnardo’s Children’s Charity we needed some office equipment moved to a staff members home. Samuel and Jacob were easy to liaise with and communicated well with us on the day.
